What Microphone to use when Recording an Audiobook

Brief History of the Audiobook

Audiobooks in a digital format are relatively new. But, the origins of Audiobooks actually go back to the 1930s. Audiobooks were often used as a means of education in schools and libraries. They were commonly refereed to as “talking books”. The “talking books” were recorded on analog cassette tapes and vinyl records. Once the internet was invented, Audiobooks became widely available for download. Audiobooks are now available online from many different sources.
