TRI-BOOTH is a result of a years-long collaboration between voiceover industry veteran, educator and director of Bookable Voiceover, Rick Wasserman (AMC, VH1, UFC, Hulk, Thor), and “Engineer to the Stars” George The Tech Whittam.After spending over a decade in his home studio turning down out-of-town theatre work and rain-checking vacations due to long-running VO gigs he didn’t want to risk losing, Rick decided that he needed some time “out of the box” to make a return to the stage. So George and Rick sampled some portable recording solutions. The results were mixed: some were so big or heavy they couldn’t be considered truly portable, some were flimsy or cramped, some didn’t even result in clean recording. Most importantly, none of them felt like the professional studio-quality booths Rick was used to. So they decided to build their own.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
TRI-BOOTH is the result of years of designing and redesigning, regional and international beta-testing, and endeavoring to meet the needs of ALL vocal performers. Each booth is handmade, so each unit is tailored for your specific recording needs.
Assembled in less than 10 minutes, TRI-BOOTH comfortably fits 7’ tall performers with the included 1’ height extenders. It has a 3’ triangular footprint and quickly packs down for travel or storage.
Plus, it’s light enough that you will not incur extra fees at the airport check-in.
What also sets the Tri-Booth apart from the rest is our included custom audio filters. Each one made by George The Tech Whittam, the filter ensures that what you record in the Tri-Booth sounds as closely to what you sound like your home studio as possible.
